Discovered in the 1960's by a family of queen conch harvesters in international waters in the Northern Caribbean. The family over the decades named the site the "Rum Runner Shipwreck" due to the massive abundance of black glass rum bottles found throughout the area. After storms the family would revisit the area to see how the site was affected. On one occasion the son found their first silver piece of eight, and from that point on a passion ensued which led to the discovery of hundreds of silver coins.
